Cool. It turns out that Alan works at Arrowhead as well. I happened to run into him at work. I had met him before at Ikusa. His dojo is now ready. (back when I first met him at Ikusa, they were still working on framing the mats).
Anyways, we chatted this past monday and that very same day, my wife took my son to the dojo and my son loves Judo! I could not go Monday because I had to work a overnight shift at Arrowhead.
Judo is great! My son is learning good stuff. I now have him both in Tae Kwon Do and Judo. I am still training in Aikido 5 to 6 days a week, but one of the two dojos I attend is closing down. So, I may have some days open in the future for Judo. I'd like to learn the street version of Judo where gouges and groin kicks are part of it. Same with Boxing . . . I dont know how to strike, but if I ever picked up a boxing gym, I would want to learn dirty boxing where kidney and back of the head strikes are standard.
Sorry for the rambling. I was just givng an up-date.
Look forward to practicing some Judo in the future with you.
Cool! I walk by there sometimes. On google, it looks like it is by Ravi Indian Food. I will look for it. I do a lot of walking. Right now, I am walking my six yr old son to TKD in colton (kicks tae kwon do). I will see if I can go by ikusa today. I can't go this thursday. But, other thursdays are good for me. i will try to see u there on a thursday.
